Venue & acces
The meeting will be held at
Nowy Świat 72 str.
Access by plane
For most international travellers it is best to go to Warsaw Chopin Airport (IATA airport code WAW). To get from the airport to the conference venue it is easiest to use either public transport or taxi.
Take bus 175 from the airport to the stop “Uniwersytet”. It takes about 40 minutes.
To avoid being cheated it is best to take a taxi recommended by the airport. Do not follow any drivers offering their services to parking places - the probaility to be cheated is quite high if you do so.
Another possibility is going to Warsaw Modlin Airport (IATA airport code WMI).
To reach the conference venue from there you can use the ModlinBus. It stops near the Palace of Culture and Science. From the bus stop “Centrum”, nearby, take the bus 175 in the direction of Pl. Piłsudskiego (most buses has the last stop written on the front, next to the line number) and go to the stop “Uniwersytet”. You can also use a suburban train. More information you can find on the airport website.
Access by train
The trains stop at Warsaw Central Railway station (Warszawa Centralna). To go to the conference venue take one of the following buses: 128, 175, 518 to the stop “Uniwersytet”.
Access by bus
Since buses are very cheap, this is an alternative for people from Eastern and Central Europe. Eurolines, Polski Bus and Lux Express are bus operators offering connections from Europe (especially Central Europe) to Warsaw. Buses are often very comfortable with free Wi-Fi (do not expect it to be working always though). These buses stop at West Bus Station (Eurolines), Metro Marymont (Lux Express) and Metro Młociny (Polski Bus).
Connection with City Center is very convenient. You just have to take metro from Metro Marymont or Metro Młociny and bus from West Bus Station (line number 178 in the direction Konwiktorska, from the bus stop “Rondo Zesłańców Syberyjskich 06” to the stop “Uniwersytet”). Usually it takes max 15 min. to get to the Center.
